MRS. KARAN MARBOLD

 Mrs. Karan Marbold has been the Youth Minister at Our Lady of Lourdes in Richmond for the past 4 1/2 years and is thrilled to be joining the St. Ann’s Parish family as Youth Minister!  Karan has been involved in Ministry since she fell in love with teaching about our beautiful Catholic faith back in Douglasville Georgia.   Before moving to Virginia, Karan was the Director of Elementary Education at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Douglasville. 

 Upon arriving in Virginia she became the Directress of the Ashland Community Pre-School (a Montessori based school).  Additionally during this time Karan was heavily involved in the Youth program at Church of the Redeemer in Mechanicsville, where she worked collaboratively with Leroy Orie and a small committee of others to revamp and revitalize their Youth Program.

 Karan has been happily married to Greg Marbold for 26 years, and they have two wonderful children a daughter Annie (25) who currently resides in Atlanta Georgia and a son Joey (21) a senior at James Madison University.  Karan loves time with her family, loves the beach, loves going on wine tastings, and loves, loves, loves, New York City!
