PEAK EXPERIENCES LOCK-IN -  The Offices of Youth Ministry at St. Benedict, St. Edward the Confessor, and St. Ann’s Colonial Heights are co-hosting a lock-in at a HUGE indoor rock climbing gym in Midlothian!  (check them out at www.peakexperiences.com)  Everyone between 12-18 years old is invited!   WHY SHOULD I GO?  10 hours of climbing with trained rock climbing instructors!  Meet some new friends from neighboring churches!  Get some awesome exercise!  Come home with a great excuse to sleep all day Saturday!  April 16-17, 2010, 8:30pm Friday night to 7:00am Saturday morning.   $35 per person (includes climbing fee, all your gear, and dinner)  **there have been no volunteers for chaperones as of yet, so adults – WE NEED YOU!**  Please sign up by April 1^st!  Email or call Maggie Stahl at: mkstahl@verizon.net    526-2548, or sign up by the bulletin board!

 DIOCESAN YOUTH CONFERENCE 2010 (July 23 – 25):  The Diocesan Youth Conference for 2010 is scheduled for July 23 – 25, 2010 at the Richmond Convention Center.  The Diocesan Office of Youth Ministry is still finalizing all the costs, but if you’re interested, sign up so we can get you more information as it comes in! Signup sheets are located by the Youth Ministry Bulletin Board, or you can just email Maggie!  We still have NO chaperones, so parents, please sign up too!

 WORLD YOUTH DAY 2011 – MADRID, SPAIN - the Richmond Diocese Office of Youth Ministry is sponsoring a Diocesan trip for high schoolers ages 16 – 18 to travel to World Youth Day in Madrid, Spain.  The Diocesan delegation will spend 13 days (August 10 to 22, 2011) in Madrid, Spain celebrating World Youth Day.  The cost is $3,499 and includes all airfare, transportation, hotel lodging, meals, taxes and fees.  We are still waiting on a few more details from the Diocesan Office of Youth Ministry.  The first deposit of $200 will be due on April 1, 2010 – if cost is an issue, please contact Maggie so we can work something out – we do not want to turn anyone away!  We plan to fundraise heavily for this event, so all eligible youth who are interested are encouraged to sign up!  If you are interested, please sign up by the Youth Ministry Bulletin Board, or email Maggie!  We still need a core group of Adult Chaperones to help out with and attend this trip.  If you are interested in chaperoning, please, please, PLEASE contact Maggie ASAP!
