Volunteers Needed!

THANK YOU FOR A FABULOUS PASS IT ON COMMUNITY EVENT! Approx 258 families visited our event, over 488 children were served by your generous donations! Our guests left with big smiles on their faces and many new outfits and toys for themselves. So many expressed such an appreciation for this event and said over and over that it was such a blessing.  Over 20 local agencies assisted us to find these families in need. Many local businesses made donations for PASS IT ON such as toothbrushes, ice cream tickets and newborn diapers for the moms to be.  We were also blessed to have the help of many of our own groups, The Knights of Columbus, The Food Pantry, The Catholic Daughters, The Women’s Spirituality Group all volunteered time, made meals, hauled donations, and made new racks to make our event so successful.  We had the help of over 60 volunteers.. your donations, your time, support, talent and love made a huge difference to many people!  THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! Stop by the hall this week to see our poster of photos.    We look forward to doing this again in the Spring! Dell Bottone and Linda Biles!

Our Mission Statement

Our PASS IT ON ministry aims to serve our church and local community with a free children's clothing and toy event.  Our primary mission is to “clothe the naked”…help provide much needed clothes to families most in need, as well as providing them with other much needed children’s items.  Our secondary goal is to help meet the clothing needs of other families whose budgets are tight and free clothes can be of great assistance.

SPRING 2009

At our Spring 2009 event, we able to give away maternity clothing, newborn to teen clothing, toys, books, videos, shoes, dress-up costumes, holiday outfits, furniture, strollers, cribs, and all sorts of baby equipment. Business donations included toothbrushes, gift certificates, food coupons and balloons.  We also generously received complimentary meals for our volunteers from local restaurants and various groups within our church.  Gift cards from local business were appreciated as they defrayed the cost of much needed supplies.
